Quesnel House

The Quesnel House, designed by BLA Design Group, is a three-level residence situated on a steep slope with views of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. The design maximizes the house's width for optimal views while preserving existing trees on the lot. To achieve this, the basement is stepped in and the main and upper floors cantilever over the tree roots. The interior features an open-concept layout with tall ceilings and modern design elements, including five bedrooms. In addition to the main residence, a two-car garage and a laneway house in the rear yard further enhance the available space and functionality.
